To all our valued Steel & Tube customers

Since our previous pricing update note, posted to our website on 12th February 2025 advising of a coming price review, we have been closely monitoring all the current factors effecting landed material costs into New Zealand combined with the latest future forecasts to hand.

The impact of foreign exchange and low New Zealand dollar, ongoing inflationary costs, combined with international base pricing has led to the need for a price increase. This is the first increase since May 2022.

We confirm that we will be increasing steel and allied product pricing across the product range by 3.5% – 7.0%, effective 7th April 2025.

We have been working hard to mitigate and reduce the impact of the cost increases and have reached the point where it is necessary to increase price.  We do hope last month's notice of a coming price review and the increase effective date of 7 April 2025 provides some time for you to prepare for the increase.

In the meantime, please reach out to your Steel & Tube contact for further enquiry.

Yours Sincerely

David Welsh | General Manager Distribution
