Important Update: Price Increase from 1 April 2026
Thank you for your ongoing and valued business. We appreciate your partnership, and are looking forward to an ongoing relationship in 2026, in a year showing early signs of promise for our economy.
To ensure we can continue providing the high-quality materials and technical support your projects require, and to provide you with advanced certainty in your own pricing for your customers, we are writing to inform you of an upcoming 3 – 8% price increase effective 1 April 2026 across select ranges:
1. Aluminium
2. Stainless steel
The increase across the above categories is being driven by volatile international market conditions flowing into the New Zealand Market: both aluminium and nickel international commodity prices have seen sustained upward price momentum. Aluminium has recently pushed toward three-year highs, driven by global supply constraints and increasing energy costs. Ongoing international trade tensions, including high-level sector tariffs on steel and aluminium in major markets continue to disrupt traditional supply routes and keep procurement costs elevated. While we hope for greater market stability, current global conditions remain fluid, and we may need to review pricing again should cost pressures persist.
We understand the importance of price certainty for your active tenders and projects. We are offering a 30-day price hold for all quotes issued prior to 1 April 2026, even if delivery occurs after that date. To lock in current pricing, any orders placed against these quotes must be confirmed within this 30-day window to retain the original pricing.
