We’re proud to introduce David Shin, Hugh He, Darren Johnson and Gilbert Reyneke - our Rollforming Specification Managers who bring extensive experience and technical knowledge to support architects, engineers, and builders across Aotearoa.
David, has built his career in the steel industry across international steel trading, materials coordination, quantity surveying, and specification management. With experience in ComFlor® supply and install projects, he brings a deep understanding of materials, installation, and client needs, helping specifiers and contractors find the most efficient and cost-effective solutions for ComFlor and Purlins.
Hugh, brings a rare mix of building industry experience and academic strength. Holding Master’s degrees in Marketing and Applied Computing, combined with hands-on construction experience gives him a unique ability to connect technical performance with design, communication, and user-friendly specification support for specifiers across the Upper North Island.
Darren, supporting customers throughout the Lower North Island, brings more than 15 years of experience in design, supply, and installation. With experience as a Technical Manager at RoofLogic and as a licensed carpenter, he’s passionate about transforming complex design challenges into practical, buildable solutions.
Gilbert, based in Christchurch, brings over 16 years of hands-on and technical experience in commercial construction. As a Licensed Building Practitioner in roofing and cladding, he bridges the gap between design intent and on-site practicality, combining trade insight with specification expertise.
Together, our Specification Managers are here to help customers get specifications right from the start. This means reducing risk, improving outcomes, and ensuring that every project is built to last.
