Long time Steel & Tube Manager steps into the Area Manager Christchurch and Timaru role. 
Steel & Tube’s Peter Donohue is looking forward to meeting up with old and new clients as he takes on his new role as Area Manager of our Christchurch and Timaru operations this week (from March 16).
Peter has a breadth of experience within S&T which reaches back to 1981 when he began work in our steel distribution warehouse.
Over that time Peter has taken on increasing responsibilities, rising through the ranks of Account Manager, Sales Manager and Branch Manager.
More recently he led the strategic planning, market mapping and competitor analysis in his role as Group Product Manager - Steel, which he held for three years from 2010. His most recent role has been as Procurement Manager – Trading Products in which he managed key relationships and strategic sourcing plans with New Zealand and international suppliers.
Peter, a passionate Cantabrian is looking forward to returning to business unit management, having closer customer engagement, plus the challenge of building on the excellent foundations evident within the existing team.
